Everytime i drink, i lose my memory? |
which also sucks because im scared ill develop amnesia in the future. but i dont drink on a daily basis. onlly when its a holiday. but ive never been drunk! sos! R u sure you've never been drunk? You say every time you drink you drink you lose your memory. So...... maybe you get drunk a lot!! Take it, really nicely though, from someone who has had a couple before!! If you are losing you memory every time you drink that sounds to me like you are blacking out each time. All this could mean is that you immediately need to acknowledge that you have a problem with alcohol that needs to be addressed sooner rather than later. I suspect you know that already anyway. Release yourself or the booze will forever be your ball and chain. I know where you're coming from. You can't believe you could ever be addicted or, God forbid, a drunk!!! But, you know what? It's in your DNA baby!! In other words its not your fault. You simply have no control over your alcohol intake, it's predestined, already mapped in your genetic make up!! So take heart and deal with it. Go to AA. Vent on them. Yell at them. They understand, they've all been there before. You'll feel like a new person!!!! YEEEEHAA!!!! God Bless...... egg nog!!! Then you should probably not drink... and how do you know you have never been drunk if you lose your memory?? Alcohol kills the brain cells. If you lose your memory from drinking alcohol no matter how small or large an amount that is your cue that you should not drink any alcohol at all. Obviously alcohol affects you easily so don't drink. If you lose your memory when you do drink what happens if you decide to drive and lose your memory and wind up lost or in an accident. Don't drink if this is truely what happens to you. Stop drinking so much. stop drinking...its a bad habit.. Drinking will kill your brain cells, no matter how much you consume. You just have to cut back. You say you lose your memory when you drink, so how do you know you've never been drunk??? That means that you are having a adverse reaction to it (obviously). I would stay away from it, especially since something adverse could happen and you wouldn't know it. Post alcohol memory loss does not happen as a result of brain cell death. It is a direct effect of the alcohol in the functioning of your brain. It is known as AMNESTIC ALCOHOL DISORDER, commonly known as BLACKOUT. (Friends that are with you may not even notice that anything is wrong at this time). People have different levels of sensitivity to alcohol for different bioogical reasons, so, you can assume that you are quite sensitive to alcohol. Make an appointment to see your doctor. Ask him/her this same question and discuss your concerns. I would also suggest that you stop drinking. Good luck! Stop drinking alcohol, I'd recommend drinking Tea instead, it's healthier and some of the tea will promote your health. (try buying caffeine free, herbal, organic tea) |
