If u could there was away to make u forget something would u try it?

If there was a drug, machine etc that could make u forget have amnesia about bad memories, bad worries, fears, to unlearn something u didn't want to know etc. Would u use it? I think the best thing is to try and release the unpleasant emotions from the memories. But what if u can't is forgetting a good idea? R there thing u wish u could forget?

NO! There are a lot of things that people think they want to forget but these are part of who you are. They will help mold your future, help you figure out how you want to raise your children and just live your life. I myself went through 3 separate kinds of abuse when I was growing up but it helped make me who I am. And my sons will change things in thier lives that I goofed up on too. Nobody's perfect!
I guess if you've seen something that gives you nightmares then I would understand wanting to forget but maybe there's a place for that fear to shape your life also.

yes goddd..i would love to forget all the pain and hurt created from my heart being broken..makes me sad still to thiink about how i felt..and a failed relationship with my sons dad..i would just like to forget about him ALL TOGETHER...

depends if it is really bad or sad moment, yes. But if it is a good moment, no.
That is the best question I heard so far.

no, i wouldn't, because it might be dangerous.

no... as much as i'd like to... no, becuase i have amniesia, and i don't remember everything, but weather i know something, good or bad, it is experiance that i will know later, it makes me prepared for an "upcoming" event.

Some people say prayer is that drug.

I would use it only for things like graphic news and horrific images. If we used it for every day mistakes we would continue to make those same mistakes because we would have forgotten the outcome. (I would probably use it for really bad movies too!)

It's probably not a good idea to be able to forget some unpleasant experiences because we learn from them. We learn to be more cautious and that's a good thing or else the same thing could happen to us again.

There is something out there already for this .....it's called NARCOTICS! LOL Oh & lets not forget the good O' bottle of VODKA! LOL
