If a woman has amenorrhea, does she have any symtoms of PMS? Interesting question! Presumably, no, because no period = no PMS. But it might be interesting to hear with someone who has experienced this personally. Probably not...PMS is usually brought on by the fluctuation of hormones prior to menstruation. However, I suppose it's still possible to have those fluctuations in hormones and not menstruate. Check with your doctor to be sure. Never experienced it but it stands to reason that even with no period you could be going thru a cycle and still have PMS. Do you know the reason for your amenorrhea? Surely your hormones are still working. She can. |
