For any women who've had or know about secondary amenorrhea.?

I think I have it. Since I came of my last birth control, reason being it made me gain weight excessively, I haven't had a period and I'm not pregnant.

I want to know what causes this and what I can do to help it. I went to a doctor, but he wasn't much of a gynocologist. He only told me that it was 'something' to do with my hormones.

Any women, or man even, who knows about this... Please give me some information on it or maybe some personal experience and advice.
