Consistent levels of cortisol (>30) and prolactin. Could this be the cause of recent amenorrhea?

Last year was diagnosed with hipothyroidism due to antibody attack on thyroid gland. Currently on 150 ug for 5 months. Five years ago also showed TSH of 6.0, but endocrinologist said no need for intervention. Cortisol levels were 45ug/dl and prolactin 30.66ng/ml. Been using birth control pill for 10 years to regulate periods, severe pms, milk secretion and excessive breast tenderness. Three months ago had to switch birth control because country no longer allows the kind I was using (Minulet). Changed over to Diane (recommended by OBGYN) which caused horrible breast pain and red blotches on my skin, some like pimples; first time period did not come. Changed to Yasmin and although no skin reactions, still have breast tenderness, and after two packages of Yasmin, I still have not had my period. Tests confirm NO pregnancy. My cortisol levels are still above 30 now. Endocrinologist says to have ultrasound done. OBGYN says everything is fine. What should I do?

Yes, your amenorrhea could be the result of the cortisol and prolactin levels, especially since you are on birth control. If your new birth control is causing all the bad symptoms you should do everything you can to get back on your old one.
