Just finished my 1st month of birth control...2 week period??

Hi there,

I just finished my first month of birth control (Apri) and I've had my period since the day before Thanksgiving. Before this, I had an irregular period (with periods of amenorrhea due to anorexia). I'm in recovery now--I've had a fairly regular peiod for about 6 months now. My question is...why have I had my period for 2 weeks? Is it the new surge of hormones or the change in levels that's messing it up a bit? Should I call my health and wellness center? (I'm away at school). Thanks for any advice or help!

Yeah, I think it's the change in hormone levels but you would be wise to call the health center.
