Any woman ever recieve a negative urine test home bought and doctors test but had a positive blood test???

for pregnancy??
See my breasts have been hurting the past 3 weeks or so..They are not ultra sore just a little sore and mostly around the nipple area, i was suppose to get my period march 14th but it never came, i am usually very irregular diagnosed with secondary amenorrhea because i went without a period for a little over a year then had one induced by provera challenge (10mg for 7 days) january 20th then had another one february 16th without the provera and missed march..Anyways i took a home test it was neg, the doctor did a test it was neg, she wants me to start BC to see if it helps regulate my periods but my hubby and i would like a child..With my first pregnancy the urine test came back neg but the blood test was positive however i lost the baby..So i would like to know if it is at all possible to receive neg test but positive blood test if the baby is healthy..If not why would my breasts be sore for so long they only get sore when im preg, not even for period

Of course! That's why they tell you that a home urine test should be followed by a confirming blood test by your doctor. The level of HCG (pregnancy hormone) in blood is higher than that in urine. The urine teast is just cheap and easy to do at home and that's why it's offered that way.

it IS possible!!! some hormones in the urine arent detected by that test thats why blood is best

Yes it's totally possible because the hormones are more elevated in the blood than in the urine, so I'd check with your doctor and get tested. A negative urine test has nothing to do with the health of the baby.
