Does alzheimer cuase seizurs? |
My dad suffered two incidents of seizures the other day. He has been diagnosed with Alzheimer and being treated. The doctor told us the seizure incidents were probably caused by Alzheimer. I would like to know the consequences and prognosis of having seizures in Alzheimer's patients. I work with these patients everyday and yeah several do develop a seizure disorder, sad to say. This is a harsh disease. Harder on you then your dad. There is no treatment for this disease and meds that are presently being used may slow down the steps but it doesn't stop them. |
