Alzheimer any new drugs for it?

I know an old woman who have Alzheimer ? and she is poor woman who can I help her?
any drugs can I give her

There are some new drug treatments and therpies but they only work with a few and ,at best they postpone.

Curcumin capsules. Not ordinary turmeric because this is only about 4-5% curcumin/curcuminoids. Better to take a standardised extract of curcumin, which should have about 95-98% of the active ingredient(s). Other herbs worth taking:
sage, lemon balm, rosemary. All have active compounds that inhibit an emzyme implicated in a decline in cognitive ability in Alzheimers Disease. This enzyme is cholinesterase. It breaks down the key neurotransmitter Acetylcholinesterase.

So basically it is to take lots of herbs that are full of natural cholinesterase inhibitors. These are the ones I have mentioned.

The other option is for her to take pharmaceutical medication such as Aricept. But I think if she lives somewhere where medicine has to be payed for this is perhaps very expensive.
It is also a cholinesterase inhibitor as are most other anti-Alzheimers drugs. None can cure the disease but they halt its progression by targetting that rogue enzyme.
But the herbs could be very effective also, if they are standardized extracts, God willing.

Muslimrose is right: Get the old lady in question to see a doctor. She needs assessment of her condition and staging of the disease progression if it is Alzheimers Disease. There may be a way for her to get coverage for medical/medication costs also. Also, if she is on any medication, she needs to consult her doctor or a pharmacist before taking any herbals because of potential for herb-drug interactions between certain herb and drug combinations.

that is so considerate of u brother , but i recommend that she should first see a doc , to give her the proper medicine in her case and then u can get it for her on ur own , Alzheimer drugs aren't an OTC drugs brother that anything would fit, it should be prescribed, though here is the ttt of that disease and the possible medications for it , wish it helps:
