Alzheimer's disease at such a young age? |
hi, im 16 and one of my friends was just diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, but he's only 17, how in the world is this possible don't only old people get this obviously not. Alzheimer's disease is really just a set of symptoms, a true diagnosis can only be made with an autopsy to see the physical changes in the brain that occurs with Alzheimer's. It is truly sad when someone so young begins to display such symptoms, but it does happen. |
