HOW is alzheimer's linked to our loss of memory? |
I'm doing a 10th-grade biology project where I am supposed to link how alzheimer's exactly makes us lose our memory, and why. I'm mainly looking for some REALLY good websites that I can find. (If you direct me to wikipedia, I swear I will report you. J/K!!! but please no wikipedia.) And if there are any doctors reading that know exactly what they're talking about, that would be really helpful as well. First of all, Alzheimer's is not 100% diagnosiable until a coroner or examiner can look at the brain of a deceased person - in order to know what's really going on, a physical examination has to be done on the brainmatter to see if a person has neurofibrillary tangles (which are basically tangled masses of neurons). |
