Worried About Alzheimer's Disease? |
Religion May Help! What do you think about it? Sure. It may definitely slow it. Prayer can center the mind and soul - I definitely believe that. Now if we could just find a way to stop it. I won't forget how good looking you are even with alzheimers. Anything is possible with prayer. Keeping the brain active is the key slowing the advancement of the disease. Spirituality and religious practices need lot of memory and thinking, since you have to follow a systematic procedure. This keeps our memory to function normally, there is no question of regression only retention. Well, since I have a family history of alzheimers I do know that the more active you keep your mind/brain, the less chance you have of developing it. So, assuming that is true, being connected to any activity, be it religious or otherwise, you are broadening your mind, therefore keeping your brain busier. This isn't a question, it's a rant. |
