Curry to counter alzheimer?


There was an article recently that says that a special ingredient in Curry can counter Alzheimer. Check out this article:

Sounds interesting - but it's just mice at this point. Also notice that 'Alzheimer' is an often misused term - it really is a rare disease that affects people in their late fourties, early fifties. It is this disease that is modeled by the mice experiments.
The mom and pop old-age dementia is something else, really, and would likely not be treatable with a therapy developed for real Alzheimer.
