Can epilepsy lead to Alzheimer's disease? |
I have left temporal lobe epilepsy and complex partial seizures. (The left temporal lobe controls memory and emotion.) I was diagnosed with epilepsy 14 years ago. As time has passed, memory problems have gotten worse and worse. It's hard to remember names, past events, things to do, and even what I did two days ago. Will my memory keep getting worse and worse? Could this lead to Alzheimer's? I'm only 24 years old. I shouldn't have memory problems. check out this research group.......http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/ |
