At what age does Alzheimer's disease can start to affect a human? |
I just want to know how old so then I can warn people before I ever get Alzheimer's disease, which if I get There is no set age. Ow...that grammar burns me. it could be developed at a very early age. a good example would be gregory in my class. he is such an old timer and forgets what he did the day before. he also forgets homework, answers to tests, what orange jumpsuits were called... People can get Alzheimer's as early as 30. Why are you planning on getting it? There is no set age, that is the saddest thing about this disease. It doesn't just creep up on you either, it like slowly eats at your mind and memories until the body finally gives in, if the person with the disease is otherwise healthy. Why do you think you would get AD (Alzheimer's Disease), are you anticipating it, if so, don't. My 84 year old Mom was diagnosed in 2001, her doctor told me recently that I should exercise my brain as often as possible (don't be idle, and idle mind is the devil's workshop and the devil's name is Alzheimer's), and he also said that I should start writing down my memories because I was going to lose them. This hurt as much as if he had told me I had some fatal disease. Imagine knowing that all you know and remember, will one day no longer be there, we are our memories, so then in the future what and/or who will I be. God Bless. |
