Medical Help.?

My grandmother is having tremors. She can only answer simple questions and is not opening her eyes unless we ask her to. She is 86 and has alzheimer's disease. Anything to help?

She had tremors last Saturday. We brought her to the ER and there was nothing wrong w/ her. She might have had a seisure but we're not sure.

I am sure that your grandmother is under the care of a physician due to the fact that you know she has Alzheimer's. I know that it is not easy to watch someone that you love change in such a drastic way. Continue to be there for your grandmother as much as you are able. Think about the old times that you shared with her. Pray with her. Talk to her as you did in the past, even though she might not understand who you are or what you are talking about. I wish you all the best. Your grandmother has a special grandchild in you, as I can see that you are concerned for her well being!

Go to the doctor?!?!?!

get her to her dr as soon as possible

Call 911 now - maybe a stroke.

well i would say take her to a doctor
p.s. good luck its tough.

Tremors or a stroke? Or something like Parkinson's. What does her physician say about the tremors? I know it's especially difficult when someone has Alzheimer's.

My grandmother finally succumbed to alzheimer's last year at the age of 96. She suffured with the illness for the last seven years and it was harder on her family than it was on her. It's very hard to see a loved one slowly degenerate into a child. The only thing I can suggest is to talk to her like you always did and to touch her. She'll respond to a soft touch, like holding her hand.
