Not really a question.... I just feel badly.......? |
The elderly woman across the street from me just got taken away by ambulance for the second time in two or three weeks. A few weeks ago she had pneumonia and a heart attack. Her husband has Alzheimer's. Their grown daughter lives next door whith her mentally disabled son. I've only talked to these people enough to say, "Hi" when we are on the street, but for some reason, I just feel terribly for their situation... I don't even know them, yet my heart goes out to them.. Stop by the daughter's house and ask if there is anything you can do. You'll feel better if you try to do something. Bless you my child u have fallen in love with someone?? hmmm................ It's hard not to feel for someone in that situation. Perhaps there is something you can do to help them. That is really nice of you. I agree it's hard to see old people struggle but you can try to help them. I try to help them. You have a good heart. thats so sad. :( well thats good.. It means you care about people. You don't have to know people to feel sorry for them? So its good thing.. dont feel weird about it.. mayb sometime go over there and talk to them? help them out...they may need a hand? thats because you have a good soul Its called compassion. There should be more people like you around. Maybe you could cook and prepare her a meal for when she comes home. doing something nice for someone always makes you feel a little better. I think the world needs more people who are as empathetic as you are. I am the same way and I would feel for the situation too. It's nice to hear about people genuinely caring instead of sitting here talking about their hair or nails, or drama or crap! aww thats really sweet! You prove there are still kind people out there be proud to be caring just pray for them an continue to be a polite neigher an say hi like you already are!!! That mean's your conscience work's................why not try and talk to them? There IS a reason you feel that way, SOMEONE is telling you something. I'm a nurse and a Christian. I would introduce myself and take a cake or cookies with you in addition to a card. You would be surprise as that little thing you do would mean so much to them in this time of their lives. Take care cook/buy something and take it over to them. let them know you are concerned. i'm sure they would greatly appreciate it. That's what makes us so special. Empathy, compassion, the ability to feel the pain of others. Caring for those we are not responsible for. And the ability to convey that compassion and love. Thank you! You need to listen to that tiny voice that makes you feel that way! That is good, unfortunately so few people are willing to act on it and lend a hand. Think about what you can do for them. Perhaps you could take a casserole over or offer a hand w/ her son. She probably wishes she could go be w/ her mother but she needs to also concentrate on her son and fathers needs. Ask how you can help, get involved. Maybe start a fund raiser to help them w/ their costs and alert others of their need. Let them know you care and you will be rewarded by the good feeling that helping gives you. Take care! Read Proverbs. Reading Proverbs will take you out of your depression. You are just a really kindly soul. Just meditate and pray that their situation has improved. For yourself, drink 6-8 glasses of water per day. You may sip it. Also take 2 tbls. of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water 2-3 x day or if dieting, before a meal. ACV has 93 vitamins and minerals. Will help you feel better by energizing your mind. |
