What are the NEGATIVE effects of smoking marijuana?

I've done some mild research and some reputable effects include mental disorders such as schizophrenia, among other things. However, there seems to be a growing evidence of more positive effects such as protective mechanisms against Alzheimer's and even therapeutic effects of cardiovascular and pulmonary health.

On the other hand, cigarette smoking (a legal substance) causes a 20 fold increase in risk of developing lung cancer.

btw, I am not advocating anything here, I just want more accurate information.

Studies Show That Has Memory Loss, Delayed Reaction.....

Being an idiot stoner who talks about pot all the time.

It's Iliegal Silly. Not To Mention It's Smoke In Your Lungs. Reguardless

decreased testosterone is one I've always heard but I'm in no way capable of actually backing it up.

I can't give you any accurate information, but just my experience.

I tried it for 3 weeks in my mid teenties which led me to become a smoker, which I wasn't before....during that time lost 50% of my memory of what I was doing. I realized that when it ran out, and couldn't remember much but living in a hazy dream.
That scared me enough to not try it again.
The positive side though, was I actually did look at things in life differently ...like I do remember analizing things that most everything day people wouldn't think of, and still hold those thoughts today.
I did try it again though, in Amsterdam 2 yrs ago but was sick as a dog with major jitters and anxiety...as i had a major hang over and hadn't slept the night before, but it was a feeling that has put me off for life.

Read "Cannabis in Medical Practice". It's a good book. Anyway, the only negative effect I had was needing to wear shades from light being too bright. It does mess with your eyes. You could also have blurred vision for a short time. Although I am predisposed to these things, so that may be why I had issues with it.

The only other negative thing I had happen was getting arrested for possession on my birthday some years ago. That's more of an indirect negative, I think.

i would like to share my experiences of using marijuana. I used to use it a lot when i was younger but have quit due to these affects of usage. What i learned about this plant was as follows, increased paranoia, lack of motivation, social anxiety and overall axiety, increased heart rate probl. due to panic attacks asociated with axiety, depression, hopelessness, naucia, dizziness, faint feeling, weight gain, cuz ive heard thc sticks to fat cells in the body, memory loss, blurred vision and congestion. So for me, the negatives surpass the positves of this herb, im sure others may differ.

So far I see in person people being mentally addicted to this. These types of people will be addicted to anything....

Other then this there is no side effects, lung cancer is not even there....many other ways of getting it into system the smoking it.

Of course I do not feel people should buy it on the streets from people they do not know either....

Over using this can cause
increased paranoia, lack of motivation, social anxiety and overall anxiety, increased heart rate porblems. due to panic attacks associated with anxiety, depression, hopelessness, naucia, dizziness, faint feeling, weight gain, because Ive heard THC sticks to fat cells in the body, memory loss, blurred vision and congestion.
