Help! please i don't know whats wrong with her!??

my great grandmother died from Alzheimer's Disease at age 87.
She left her husband at 34, and went stupid, drinking, smoking, drugs, sex, ect.
She did alot of other bad things to, that were just NOT right!.
My grandmother (my mothers, mum) is exactly the same, she never really spoke to her mother (grandmother), coz she left her as a child.
My grandmother left my mum at age 32, my mum was 9.
She went stupid, like i said above, doing all that crap and even more that i would rather not say.

My great grandmother got married at 48 and went stupid again at 70.

My grandmother got married and she is going stupid at 64.
She is isolating herself, from everyone in my family, But she willl never admit it. there is somthing wrong with her and she will never listen to anyone.

I don't know what kind of mental problems she has, but hearing the similarities, (some of them i noted.) between the 2, i feel really scared..

sorry if i havn't explaned to right

just do ur bst 2 understand

I"M FOURTEEN

What you are describing is not heredity, it is conditioning. My mother did this so I will. You will not have to follow in any path but your own. My father gave me one valuable lesson in life, do not try to walk in my footsteps, walk one step ahead. See if you can get your mother to explain to you what is really happening. Then see if your mother can give you some help getting her mother some help. Don't be scared. Just do the best you can do.

probably just bad examples. it's not like stupidity is in your genes, just your role models. (not yours specifically, i mean that very generally).

you don't have to be alarmed. It was their own choices and own decisions. and you saw what happened to their lives because of such choices. learn from it and try to live your life the way you want it to be. Be happy. you are responsible for your own life not the bad history of the women in your maternal side.

You're right something sounds off, but you can't spend your life worrying about it. Try to get her to a doctor and if that isn't possible....pray.

They are repeating the pattern of abuse handed down from generations and generations. check this out: www.alice-miller.com I don't want to go into details because she explains it much better.
