Alzheimers's Disease? |
What are some early indicators of Alzheimer's and can someone detect these in themselves? Forgetting parts of their daily/normal routine. Getting confused easily. Becoming irritated because they are confused. Those are just some signs I've recognized in my own family because both of grandmothers suffer from it. My mother (88) has Alzheimers, as do two of her sisters. My husband (59) has been confusing his right and left a lot for the past year or so. Becoming less tolerant of things. Drives very aggressively. I don't know if I'm being overly anxious. Any thoughts? Report It not being able to do normal things like balance a check book, write a check, remember names, asking the same things often, leaving the stove on, same with coffee pot. these were the first things l noticed with my dad. He didn't think anything was wrong with him. l finally had to have him live with me as this progressed. There are 7 stages and he is in the later part of 6. Doesn't remember 3 minutes ago. There's a site on the internet that l went to and read info. Every one is different with this disease. Hope this helps a little. |
