Where do I find Activity projects for nursing home residents?

I work with people who have had strokes, alzheimer's,etc. finding activities is not always easy. I need some new ideas. If anyone out there can help me please do so.

Have you tried to get any help from a Physical Therapist? If your local hospital has a PT room maybe you can speak with a few of them and get some ideas. They work with people who have had strokes, heart attacks, etc. who are elderly. (My 80 yr old mom was going to a PT center at our local hospital and they were great!).
