Where do I find Activity projects for nursing home residents?

I work with people who have had strokes, alzheimer's,etc. finding activities is not always easy. I need some new ideas. If anyone out there can help me please do so.

Have you tried to get any help from a Physical Therapist? If your local hospital has a PT room maybe you can speak with a few of them and get some ideas. They work with people who have had strokes, heart attacks, etc. who are elderly. (My 80 yr old mom was going to a PT center at our local hospital and they were great!). Good luck and God Bless you for what you do and for doing it so well!!!

have you thought of checking with the state health department.
