Is there any alternative medicine for parkinsons?

My sister is suffering with parkinsons she is taking some alopathic medicine I would like to know whether it can be cured with alternative medicine herbal medicine without side effect

You can lower risk of developing Parkinson's disease by reducing intake of animal fats and sugar, avoiding excessive exposure to metals such as aluminum, iron, manganese, mercury, cadmium and copper, and by ensuring an adequate intake of antioxidants. These preventive measures may also be useful in slowing down the progression of the disease.

NOTE: these supplements should be used under the supervision of a doctor.

1. Grape Seed Extract (Pycnogenol) - for its antioxidant properties.

2.Broad beans - A 100gm serving of broad beans (including the pods) provides about 250mg of l-dopa and in addition a significant amount of proanthocyanidins. The broad beans remain effective even if canned or frozen, but should always be consumed whole as the pod has been found to have the highest concentration of l-dopa. Medication dosage may have to be adjusted if broad beans are consumed on a regular basis.

3.Milk Thistle - (potent in antioxidant activity):
70 to 210mg, 3/day. For this reason, standardized extracts, typically 80% silymarin content, are preferred.

4.Naproxen and other NSAIDs may exacerbate Parkinson's disease. Avoid them.

5. Vitamin E-complex - 800 IU, 4/day.

6. Vitamin C - large doses of oral vitamin C 1000mg, 3/day.

7.Coenzyme Q10- 1200 mg /day.

8. Green Formula - with spirulina, Chlorella, wheatgrass, to support detoxification.

9. Fish oil - with 1 gram of DHA and EPA.

10. N-acetylcystein - 500 mg, 3/day.

11.NADH - 5 mg, 2/day.

12. Consultation with a Homeopathic practitioner before using homeopathy remedy.

With any Medication, she must be consulted with Physical therapist.

Parkinsons Disease is a serious disease. It killed my father. There is no known cure of any kind for this condition. Follow the doctor's advice.

XANTHONES
You can lower risk of developing Parkinson's disease by reducing intake of xanthones. Xanthones are a family of vigorous phytonutrients with powerful antioxidant properties that inhibit oxidation and help protect cells against the harmful effects of free radicals.
The whole mangosteen fruit (as found in Xango Juice) is the source of dozens of different xanthones. Scientific research shows that xanthones possess potent antioxidant properties that neutralize free radicals and much more....

Try a Yahoo search for "parkinsons disease" + "natural remedies".

I believe the body can heal its self and you can create a body where that healing can take place. The brains most important nutrient is stimulation. There must be a switch towards a healthy mindset and not simply looking for a cure for Parkinson's. There must be an entire belief system shift. If you want a treatment for simply one thing that is no different than taking a drug for a symptom. There is no "take this certain thing out of your diet or add this magic root" its a lifestyle change and a lifestyle embrace. If you want a healthier lifestyle knowing that the body has a better chance of doing what it was created to do if the whole system is healthy then I advise thewellnesspractice dot com. Contact that man for a doctor in your area. Best of luck.

I have seen video evidence of noticeable help in managing symptoms of Parkinson's from one product. It would be used every six hours to be effective. It is not curative. But it seems to be helpful in bringing more control, reducing head rolling or tremors in the hand, and helping the voice work better. So it targets the symptoms and is temporary. But in many cases the effect is visible within an hour.
Anyway, it is called Lutimax. Manufactured by SynorX in San Clemente, CA. The 100 mg lozenge comes 120 to a bottle. She would take 4 lozenges four times a day 30 minutes before eating. The active ingredients are luteolin and rutin, two flavones. It works by inhibiting TNF and NO synthase, I believe. It also indirectly inhibits PGE2 by inhibiting NF-kappaB and inhibits 5-LOX and 12-LOX pathways at micro-molar concentrations.
There is one other product from the same company whose patent covers Parkinson's, but it is not generally available yet. It is a combination of two proteins. It is designed to be used with the Lutimax. Perhaps you could try Lutimax first.
