Grovers Disease:Relief??Alternative Medicine??

My sister is suffering from this affliction.Just wondering if anyone might know of some means of obtaining relief from this condition.Apparently there is no cure for Grovers.My sister lives in Australia so I'm thinking that surely there must be something available to treat this condition elsewhere in this world.There must be Doctors,Med students,Nurses,Alternative Medicine practitioners and so forth occasionally reading these pages(?) who might have some helpful info.

Hello my name is tom, the cream prescribed to me for my Grovers is Triamcinolone 0.1% applied to skin twice daily, then on top of it Eucerin Original Creme. Then spray with water from a squirt bottle. Then wear cotton P.Js or cotton pants. Do this twice daily. And you might tell her I have had extremley good luck swimming in the Ocean, beware though
it burns at first when it is healing so take it easy. It hurts like heck the first few times. Please tell your sister to go see a good Dermotoligist for this treatment as everybody is different. I AM NOT A DOCTOR, so my advice is stritcly from experince for the last four years. And also try to sleep as much as possible and relax when possible. And try not to think about it . It well only make it worse. Hope this helps please let me know if this helps, It took 2 months for the 8 Dermotoligts to determine this diease is what was wrong with me. Take care Tom

Sorry, there is no cure. All that can be done is the use of soothing creams, but keep clear of steroids etc as they can have unpleasant side-effects if used long-term.
