I am looking for Health groups, holistic medical groups, natural medicine groups, alternative MD grouips, etc.

I am looking for groups that are for Health, Holistic Medicine, Alternative Medicine, Natural Medicine, etc. I am having trouble actually finding groups as opposed to actual practices that are just a few doctors in an office. I am looking for local groups in the Los Angeles area and also international. Does anyone know of any?

American Institute of Holistic Theology is a distance learning college that has links to many organizations for what you are looking for. check them out. I am studying for my Bachelors of Science in Holistic Health through them. Good stuff

no i don't know of any groups i am a nhc and this is what i do and have studied mabe just start a group? invite responses to join your group? hope this helps Good Luck!

I don't know about specific groups but it occurs to me that a local natural doctor might be a good place to start. Find some in your area and give them a call, they might know of groups or might even be involved with one outside of their usual practice.

Hi - my name is Kimberly and I just started a Water Wisdom group designed to discuss the health benefits of alkaline water. I work with a D.O., N.M.D. and M.D. (the same person has the all three degrees) and he does alternative medicine. He has recently written a book on breast health, not about breast cancer, but on things you can do to prevent developing breast cancer. He was the only medical doctor featured in 'The Secret' last year.

He and I are know co-authoring a book entitled Water Wisdom which will discuss all sources of water, but add some addtional focus on alkaline water.
