How about if you try some relaxation techniques...since it usually caused by anxiety or nervousness in social situations.
Remember that when you met new people they are equally as shy,so concentrate on making them comfortable and it may ease your shyness.

A little bit of powder may help to absorb the moisture before a meeting as well or try these sites for information:

Stop playing with yourself.

it's good to sweat ! but the thign is if ur pals are sweaty ur not drinking e noguh water i think!

I read about this and you are far from alone, no treatment but an operation ...on a nerve that that is stuck on yes to sweat the hands.

You should drink lot of water to keep your digestive system healthy. Once the digestive system improves, the body sweating will decrease.

There are special cremes containing Alluminium HCl+Triclosane or only Alluminium HCl. If they doesn't work go to a dermatologist, botox can be used as an antiperspirant for palms.

It's called hyperhydrosis and is pretty common. The most extreme cure for it is to have surgery to sever the nerve that provides the response. You can also try Botox injections at the sight of the nerve.
