I'm a lady 60yrs old, I have dried & cracked skin on my feet for some time. It doesn't itch,gives pain.

I have been using UREA 10 and NUFORCE cream but its not improving,do I have to check my sugar level also.Are there any alternative oral and applicable to skin medicines

i know it sounds crazy but use cream like men use for jock itch or athletes foot it really heals the cracks and softens the skin after you apply put on a pair of socks till it soaks in

drink alot alot alot more water.

also, use a cream called amlactin that you can buy at the pharmacy over the counter.

There are all kinds of things that can cause
these things, and without pictures and poking its hard
to tell just we're talking about here. It could be
an allergic response, a diet thing, or simply a
sign of your skin changing characteristics over
the long term.

I suggest that you see a dermatologist.

If you need help RIGHT NOW, you might
try putting the cream on and then putting your
foot in a sock for the evening.

However, I think a doctor may be in order.

try to put lotion on every night before bed, then wearing socks at night. If the problem persists, talk to your doctor. I think your due for a good pedicure, go treat yourself!!

I am diabetic too and had dry, cracked feet too. What works for me is soaking my deet in warm/hot water for about 20 minutes and pat them dry ,do not rub, and apply some Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Lotion to them. Get the kind with Aloe. It works really well and do this everyday. It should help soften upo your feet in about a week or two if you do this everyday. You can add some epsome salts to the water also that will soften your skin too and help remove any dry, dead skin too. Good luck to you.

If you can, take a hot bath and soak. Soaking does wonders for the skin. Use Pure Coconut Oil as a moisturizer. Drink 6-8 glasses of water with 2 tbls. of apple cider vinegar in a glass or 2 per day.
