Does anyone have a homeopathic remedy for a dog with a collapsing trachea? |
My 6yr old dog Zen had a <64mm> stent put in a couple months ago to aid with his collapsing trachea. Unfortunately the damage has gone beyond his trachea to his bronchial tubes and the damage can't be fixed/corrected. He has been fine up until a few days ago when he started coughing again, about 60-70% of the time. We are broke from his surgery (and the MANY ER visits) so we are looking for an alternative solution to aid in his breathing. He's currently taking cough medicine as well as prednisone (a steroid) 2x a day. His symptoms are very much like asthma with what occurs to the bronchial tubes & his breathing. Any suggestions are welcomed! there is no homeophathic remedy for something such as your dog illness. you might think of putting him down... for his sake. i know its sad and a hard thing to do, i've done it, but like you , i ran out of traditonal medical cares and cures, money but most important, he was uncomfortable and very ill... there's a time to just let go. (sugar free/fat free versions, low calorie etc.) The natural sugar in fruit is supposed to increase energy and is much better for you ... No wonder it's all in the head! ...I too have my medical card in Oregon. I suffer from migraines, severe back pain,nausea,vomiting, high blood pressure and eating problems. I think the reason the Soma is putting your father out is cause it is not only a muscle relaxer but it is a sedative and that is what is probably making him feel down and out!!!!!
