PLEASE HELP!! pmsing trouble!?


I fail to follow a healthy diet when I'm pmsing! I eat a lot of unhealthy food! As my name suggests, I'm an athlete, and I should be following a healthy diet all the time for good performance.
When I'm pmsing and even in the first few days of my period, I feel very tired that sometimes I can't sleep. Eating is one thing that makes me feel a bit better at this time, I feel less tired and I concentrate better. The problem is this only happens when I overeat or eat unhealthy food, usually rich in sugar. I feel horrible, and I really want an alternative for overeating when I'm pmsing. I don't want to gain weight! Is there any recommended medicine I can take to reduce my pms symptoms?
Please help, I've been suffering from this for years. I think I have what they call pmdd not just pms!

You could try eating healthier foods that still taste good. (sugar free/fat free versions, low calorie etc.)

The natural sugar in fruit is supposed to increase energy and is much better for you as well.

You should also talk to your doctor about it.
