Help my dad for his prob nephrologist here? |
my dad is 49years old. 5 years back we found out that he was having the symptoms of hypo thyroid.then when the test was done the report result showed hypo thyroid , choesltrol (700+) , protein likage. after some years we found out that the cycle goes like this , when the variation of thyroid occurs, choestrol and protein likage level also raises. this prob occurs once in a year. during that time he takes WYSLON 60mg for 15days then tapper to 5mg. then he becomes normal. he has tried taking alopathy , homoeopathy and ayurvedic medicines but nothing seems to work the cyle remains the same as well as it occurs once a year. biopsy test has been already taken. creatinine remains the same normal. but albumin varies. i think need to worry only if creatinine level varies. after all these tests only doc prescribed wyslon. I'm sorry that i don't reall have an answer for you but maybe this site will . good luck! i will help your father if you help to search friend like you. Get him to see a Nephrologist. he may require blood tests like BUN and Serum creatinine level estimation. 24 hours urine protein loss estimation..or even a renal biopsy after these tests.
