My ten month old daughter is sufferring from diarheooa since last night can anyone just a good home remedy?

We have started prescribed medication but she is very averse to medicines and will most of the time vomit it out within 10-15 minutes hence we are looking for an alternative.

I am not sure where abouts you are from so this may not be relevant but...............

During the summer times my children always used to get diarrhea. I found the best thing to do was to allow it to work it's way out of their system but just ensured they had plenty of fresh water to drink. It won't do them any harm whatsoever to go without food for a day, but they have to have plenty of fluids.
That is the best remedy for diarrhea and no medication involved.
If she is having tummy gripes too, just rub her tummy gently or hold the palm of your hand against her tummy. The warmth of your hand acts like a cool water bottle and can be very soothing.

Hope she feels better soon

u need to call the doc and let them know that she will vomit it up and u need to get to a pharmacy or walmart target and buy her some pedialite and if none is available the next best thing is Poweraide or Gatoraid jsut keep that baby hydrated also the med may be too strong for her

Add poppy seeds into something she likes, like peanut butter and feed. Instant relieve.

plenty of Pedialyte, no foods except starches like toast, crackers, etc for today. Also, if she gets a fever with the bug, you can buy suppositories called fever-all at walmart......its the same ingrediant thats in tylenol which is acetaminophen. My son cant take meds without throwing up, so I know where your coming from on that. Also, apples are binding food which will help firm her stools. Good luck....my best advice is just comfort her and wait it out. Viruses have to run their course.

I would stop giving the baby milk.
Try a soy based formula like Enfamil Prosobee or Lactofree. Something that is lactose-free should do the trick.

See the doctor in the next 24 hours if it doesn't stop with my remedy.

Gatorade and green tea for a 10 month old is not good. Don't listen to these people.

Have you heard of the B.R.A.T. diet? It's bananas ,rice cereal ,applesauce and toast. any of theese will help relieve the diarreah and keep her nutritionally healthy> hope she gets better.

First off you need to give her as much fluid as she'll take. She could easily become dehydrated and that's bad. Try green tea (make sure it's not too hott for her). Make sure she doesn't get anything that contains caffeine that makes it worse. Apple juice will make it worse. Foods like rice and carrots help as well, obviously the baby food version. Tried going to a health food or supplement store and ask for natural remedies for infants.

If you can get her to drink rice water eat jello and drink pediolight very important to not let her get to dehydrated .
called the diarrhea diet.

ginger tea with a spoon full of honey. make it hot tea stir in honey [ ginger is a spice ,1/2 tsp per cup.]
then pour over ice, stir till cold and put in her bottle
taste it to make sure you have enough honey..
this is going to take a few bottle to help....................................... first check with her dr. and ask if this is o.k. with the meds.

Keep her hydrated....don't give formula...just crackers and water (breast milk is fine)...pedialyte...yes, make circly motion around belly botton with your four fingers- with just a tiny bit of pressure, so it doesn't tickle...this is very soothing.

Check dehydration (due to diarrhoea) first, as it can easily happen to a child of 10 months (infant). Don't loose time looking for home medicines on the net !! The dehydration thing is very dangerous and can set in very rapidly in small children.
