Just started strattera, question about some side effects?

Hi everyone, I'm 23 and for the past year I've been having some focusing problems so my doctor started me out on strattera. This is my 2nd day taking it and i've been experiencing a lot of side effects already. So far it's been cold chills, nausea, drowsiness, severe dry mouth and it's even caused my penis to shrivel inward. The doctor said there are no side effects on this drug. How long can I expect these side effects to go on for and should I continue taking this medicine? It helps tremendously in improving my ability to focus better so thats not a problem. Are there any better alternatives out there also? Thanks in advance

Side effects of Strattera

If you experience any of the following serious side effects, stop taking Strattera and seek emergency medical attention or contact your doctor immediately:
路 an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of the throat; swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; or hives);
路 irregular or fast heartbeats;
路 chest pain or high blood pressure (blurred vision or severe headache); or
路 difficult urination.
Strattera can cause liver damage in rare cases. Call your doctor right away if you have itching, dark urine, yellow skin/eyes, upper right-sided abdominal tenderness, or unexplained "flu-like" symptoms.
Other, less serious side effects may be more likely to occur. Continue to take Strattera and talk to your doctor if you experience
路 upset stomach, nausea, or vomiting;
路 decreased appetite;
路 constipation;
路 dry mouth;
路 insomnia;
路 decreased libido or sexual side effects;
路 menstrual cycle changes;
路 hot flushes or sweating;
路 fatigue;
路 dizziness; or
路 irritability or mood swings.
Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.

Symptoms of an Strattera overdose may include sleepiness, drowsiness, agitation, hyperactivity, abnormal behavior, gastrointestinal symptoms, blurred vision, fast heartbeat and dry mouth.
