My mother has been a smoker for many years now...?

She has tried to quit over and over again and nothing works. She does not like to take different types of medicines and things of that nature. I was wondering if anyone knew any kind of alternative ways to kick the habit. I really want her to quit.

Don't give up..my dad died of lung cancer and it is not a good way to go..it is awful so please have her try the suggestions. Report It

take her cigarettes and throw them away... you have to be aggressive. make her feel guilty about what she's doing. tell her she's being selfish if she continues to hurt herself... ask her to do it for you... take her cigarettes away and stomp them.
