Is it possible that my drinking habits(alcohol) have anything to do with my constant stomache nausea/sickness?

I am not perfect, and I know this, but my drinking habits have increased quite a bit lately, due to new friends, stress at work and broken relationships. I do believe that I am in a battle with alcoholism, but I need to know, is it possible that my weekly/daily stomache pain and nausea have anything to do with the drinking? I have only had this problem once, when I was overweight, but that passed quickly with the weight loss. Now its all the sudden back, and I dont know why. If anyone else has any insite, please let me know.

Yes go to a doctor. It could be pancreatitis or something like that ulcers or reflux

Yes it can. You can get varicose veins at the end of the esophagus. These are potentially life threatening. If one should rupture, you could possibly bleed to death. You should be seen by an internist and have your throat and stomach looked at with a scope.

hm. let me think........ stupiddddddd

Absolutely. Essentially, alcohol is a POISON ... which can have an adverse affect on numerous parts of the human body. Please hun, seek help if you think you may have an addiction to alcohol. Wishin' you well ....

BTW: Welcome to Yahoo!Answers. :)

If you are ingesting considerable amounts of alcoholic drinks or beverages on a regular basis then what you're currently feeling could be a direct result of your drinking. If you're taking any king of maintenance medication you should all the more be weary of your drinking because alcohol can cause serious adverse reactions with prescribed medication. Try drinking the recommended 8 glasses of water per day to detox you a bit.

Alcohol can absolutely cause stomach pain and nausea because your body has to work extra hard to try to process the alcohol. Maybe you can try going one day without alcohol and see if the symptoms go away.

Yes. The consumption of too much alcohol can lead to all of the symptoms you are describing. I suggest you stay off the alcohol for a while to see if these symptoms subside. If they do not then it is time to see a physician.
