Issue here Mom & Daughter thing!!?

Over protected as child (not Good). Mom put in Physc hospital. Was put in several foster homes. Abused in them all. Molested several times and raped. Turned to many bad habits during lifetime so far. Bad relationships, drugs, alcohol and self abuse, suicide attempts. Yes i have gone to much counceling and put on many physc drugs, but do to thyroid problem to many bad side affects. Try every day to make it better on my own, but not working to good. Feel like i am falling to pieces. A break down i presume. Any understanding of my situation would be good. If you only want to bash me don't respond PLS!!!!

I can really relate to your childhood. I grew up with a lot of abuse too and my first time was a rape. I used to use drugs and alcohol to try to numb down the bad feelings then one day I was like...screw this...why should I let them win? Just because they ****** up the first part of my life why should I let them **** up the rest of it? I spend every day of my life now living it for me and my future. To hell with them. The best revenge is living your life to the fullest and to be happy. I guess what I'm trying to say is you can't change the past but you can decide what the rest of your life will be.

there are toll free phone numbers in your phone book to call for help...

calm down life isn't easy for everyone. Try meditating, or just staring at the wall a couple of times. Try to be calm

Since your mother was admitted to the hospital for mental health problems, my guess is you inherited the tendency. A tight support structure, whether it's friends, other family members or those who are like family to you, will really help you greatly.

Psychiatric medications have side effects, but you have to be willing to try all available ones. I had to try about three before striking gold, and I've taken that one for almost 14 years.

There is only one way to come back once you've gone that far, but it's too long to explain here.If you truly want to know how you can have 100% joy and happiness for all eternity then e-mail me: nboonie@yahoo.com

it's too hard to say i know how you feel, but i do know that if you're patient, it WILL get better. You should probably see about getting in touch with a different psychiatrist. I have thyroid cancer and no thyroid -- you should still be able to take SOMETHING that will help you. if you don't feel like your current docs are paying attention to you or helping you, find new ones.

when you're older, and you've done a lot of work on yourself, you will live the life you were meant to live. i hope you have the patients and the faith in yourself to wait it out until then.
bless you.

i have bipolar (kinda likebritney spears) selfdistructive behavior, drugs, alchohal, unprotected sex, std... i've really done it all... i have beed through almost everything u have been through... cutting, bolemia, raped (by my bf's and step dad) and it wasnt fun.

but i am better now, i still am depressed and need a psycologist. But the thing they don't know is that when i cut, i dont want to kill myself... but when i do, iget to c the world a lot more cleerly... and heres basically what my life is like right now:

"i am tired of trying to hang on, taking the pieces of what was once whole to make something new of them"

remeber this, u can get help and get better... but the counselingand the meds isnt all u need to do... try to stay away from all the bad stuff and focus on the good,,, think about the future, and not the past

Write down all the things you want in life and all your ambitions. Then, take one of those things, (start off small) and everyday, do something that will help you to achieve whatever it is you want. Once you have achieved just one of these things, you will begin to feel in control of your life (which is what you really need to feel) and everything will seem more in focus and life will seem more meaningful. After achieving a few of your dreams and ambitions you will find that life just falls into place.

Maybe I should take my own advice?

Are you asking if you could have the same physc problem as your Mom...it is possible with some mental illnesses.

You have been through so very much, and have many challenges to over come. It was not your fault that you suffered abuse.

Abused people have insecurity problems, and usually don't feel secure about themselves. I know that is hard to deal with, but you are still trying and that is very good.

You need to learn to like yourself, and try to take better care of yourself. You need to continue to get counseling to get better though. Bless you <3

that's terrible.
i feel soo bad for you.
my friend had the same exact problem, except, her mother, even though she was mental, stayed at home, and as a child, she beat her up.
i couldn't have another person going through that again.
are you lutheran ?
if so, pray to God that he will help you.
because i prayed for my friend, and my friend prayed for herself, and she's fine now.
you'll be okay eventually.
i promise.
i'll pray for you every night, starting tonight.
and God will help you.
i know it.
he helped my friend, so why wouldn't he help another believer who's asking for advice ?
just because you sinned a lot, doesn't mean God hates you.
you can always trust there's someone there for you, because God is always with you.
and you have to trust.
you can pray anywhere, but God always hears you.
im not going to force you to be lutheran, but it would be awesome to have one more person in heaven.(:
think about becoming a lutheran, if you're already not.

you sound like you have had a really rough time.their is no wonder you are feeling this way.try figure out a way forwud and begin a new chapter.you must of been down to try end your life but think about something or someone that is their for you.the people that did these sad things to you will be getting on with their own lives.sod them all.you are special in your own right.tell yourself that.you have every right to be feeling like this but also every right to enjoy your life.be good be careful but enjoy.
