What is the role of the EPA in controlling Air Pollution in Atlanta?

HELLO it's called the UNITED STATES of America NOT the UNITED FEDERAL Government of America.... that being said I live in california and we have never had to comply to any federal epa standards... we just pay the small fines and keep on ruining the eco system...

Well, the EPA is the main regulatory body in many areas. Other than that, I'm not sure what to tell you. The EPA website should be able to answer this better for you.
