What is allergic rhinopharyngitis? what is it remedy? do we have any ayurvedic or homeopathic medicine for it? |
I have this for many years now? It occurs every one or two month? Is this due to air pollution or food allergies? Is it dangerous? It starts with irritation in the throat, then after sometime I have runny nose, sore eyes and then fever starts? In greek, rhis (蟻喂蟼)=nose and pharynx (蠁维蟻蠀纬尉)=throat. -itis means irritation. rhinolaryngitis (rhi路no路lar路yn路gi路tis) (ri鈥漬o-lar鈥漣n-ji麓tis) inflammation of the mucous membrane of the nose and larynx. Stick the word "allergic" in front and it means that the cause of the inflammation is allergic in nature. It is curious that you start a fever, as that is not usually a sign of allergy. The only way to stop an allergic reaction is to reduce or eliminate your exposure to the allergen. If you have not had allergy testing, you should get an appointment right away. Your doctor can do a simple skin test to identify to which allergens you react. Once you have this knowledge, you can take the proper steps to avoid or reduce your exposure to these allergens. It beats wasting your valuable time, energy, and money guessing what might be causing the problem. best is to avoid exposure to allergen, but sometimes its not quiet possible. So take a anti allergic medicine as soon as you feel that there will be an attack and it will be aborted. During attack you may use warm saline water gargle, inhalation of soda water vapour etc. These measures generally help. |
