Does smelling fart lead to bad health?

sometimes i get caught up in an elevator or in a car and then i'm stuck .. with a FART someone did and the smell is disgusting and feels so rotten and gross!!! and i get a hedacche :S .. so is smelling fart unhealthy? what should i do if the same prob. happens again? and is fart a kind of air pollution ?

Actually, no. The gas in the fart is mainly methane, which is odourless. There are small quantities of sulphur, which adds that characteristic farty smell. You are probably getting a headache from scrunching your face up as your face makes a futile attempt to block the fart from your lungs. Farts are harmless. You will not die or get some terrible disease from smelling a bad fart.

It does contribute slightly to global warming, but not enough for it to be a problem.

Fart is a natural body waste! You have to git rid of them off course, if not it will sometime make your stomach bloated. So i guess, everytime you smell fart! hehehe,cover your nose off course! Remember everything that is too much is bad for the body! too much smelling of fart.. hmmmmm... i havent heard from that before! ehehehhe

ye smells horrible, no it is not unhealthy to smell them, otherwise you would have people dropping down like flys. Ive never heard of someone having a post mortum and the doctor says they died of farts.
