Anosmia loss of taste and ageusia smell?

can anybody throw any light on the subject,I have been told nasal polyps are causing this ,what alternative or complimentary therapies can help

Numerous cases are recorded of successful use of Garlic internally (for nasal polyps), and by inserting Garlic powder, oil, or a sliver of fresh corm into the nostril.

Powdered Blood root or Thuja can be used as a snuff twice daily. Other effective agents are powdered Bayberry, Black Walnut (may stain skin brown), Myrrh, Goldenseal (may stain yellow). Tincture of Thuja, 1-3 drops daily, assists.

I have agnosmia ageusia with no apparent MRI nerve problems. It is driving me insane. Report It

I found this in this site; it mentions it's caused by a zinc deficiency; & suggest: "... For the body to best respond to zinc, I suggest you take zinc acetate (without the calcium carbonate and tricalcium phosphate fillers), vitamin b6 and magnesium. These three seems to work in synergy."
