How do you find out if your cancer was caused by agent orange?

my father has cancer and he was in the military that went to gagetown every summer for two weeks and agent orange was used there

Agent Orange was used in Vietnam from 1961 to 1972, it was "herbicide" and exfoliant a member of the "rainbow" type chemicals. There are thousands of veterans and citizens of nations where this was sprayed from airplanes that have been compensated by the US government and the makers, Dow Chemical Corp. There's tons of info on the Net and Veterans affairs website, your dad should already know about them.180 billion dollars have already been paid out to compensate soldiers affected. His doctors should be able to help with this, many cancers were cause by agent orange, along with other diseases and conditions.

He needs to go to a Veterans Administrarion Hospital.

Talk to your father's oncologist. My father had lung cancer caused by exposure to asbestos, and they knew that by the type of cancer he had. They may be able to tell in your Dad's case too. Sorry.

this is from Wikipedia, which is not necessarily always right...

"The US Department of Veterans Affairs has listed prostate cancer, respiratory cancers, multiple myeloma, type II diabetes, Hodgkin鈥檚 disease, non-Hodgkin鈥檚 lymphoma, soft tissue sarcoma, chloracne, porphyria cutanea tarda, peripheral neuropathy, and spina bifida in children of veterans exposed to Agent Orange as side effects of the herbicide."
