My my grandfathers fater,my uncle, and none of my cousins are bald but im begining to receed? |
im only 17 and im african american I think you inherit baldness from your mother's side of the family. baldness comes from the maternal side of the family male baldness is a maternal trait Uncle on your mother's side....good indicator. maybe its further back in your family's history or you maybe looking at the wrong side of family .. You should check with your family and see if maybe you missed something .. my my goodness goodness, are are you you sure sure They say that you would look to your mothers father, that is were you inherit the bald gene. moms got some explaining to do. i believe that the thickness of your hair/hair recession is from moms genetic makeup. start wearing a Jordan [bald head] all the baller do it been proven that the baldness gene is actually recieved from the mothers side of the family. so you may be looking in the wrong direction. but also it doesn't have to be inhereted either, it can just occur. take my word for it being the only balding man on either side of my family and I am only 29 years old Testosterone is what's doing it, probably from Mom's side, you are more of a man than most, besides it can be sexy, don't panic, you are not alone. Sandy the baldness gene is determine by your maternal side family. not the paternal gene. Well... I did read that the trait for hair lost is actually passed on through your mom.....and not through your dads ....hows your moms brothers look? Because if thats the case, if both your grandfathers have hair, it could have come from one of your grandmothers, and then passed on to her sons. And then again, genetics is like a roll of the dice, it could some long recessive trait in you family from generations ago that showed up in you. This may be a stupid question to your concerning answer. But, do you wear a hat or anything on your head daily? You may even want to avoid using too many gels or chemicals on your hair. You may even want to research your family history further to see where the pattern started. I will say, I have seen alot of bald men, men who had early pattern baldness that decided to just shave the rest off, who look mighty fine. I would start before you bring out the razor looking at potential reasons your hair is receeding. It could be preventable if its alot of gels or wearing a hat or anything on your head for too long. Look deeper into your family history to. :) GOOD LUCK!!!!!! |
