Pimple that won't go away!?

I'm an African American teenager that has had a pimple for the last three years. It has darken and harden the skin around it. I have no clue what to do! This is the 2nd time I've had one and the 1st I had to have surgery which left me with a horrible scar and refuse to the same with this one. What can I do to? It seems to be deep in my skin like a root and I can't stop trying to squeeze it. Please help!

my son has been using pine tar soap for a over three months now. it has really helped clear it up. he had it really bad. huge sores on his face, back and some on his arms and chest. you can get it thru your pharmacy. it costs about $4 a bar and a bar can last 3-4 wks. His skin is 100 percent clearer now

Please go to the doctor. It could be a form of skin cancer, or just a seriously clogged pore. Go see a dermatologist, tell him/her about your fear of scarring, and see what they suggest. Please do not wait.

It's not a pimple. Pimples do not last that long no matter how bad they are. It's probly a cyst. The only cure for that would be to have it removed. There is something called black salve that can help draw these things out but not a super good idea until you talk to your doc, and the salve doesn't work on everyone.
