Need advice on tubal ligation at 25yrs old!? |
I decided to have my kids at a young age do to past ovarian problems. My husband and I decided 3 is a good # and we don't want to put my body through any more stress. My concern is not about conceiving again. As a stable and mature couple we've opted for adoption in the future if we change our mind. My concern is weight gain and hormonal changes! I've researched on this and I know there are no hormonal changes, but I still get comments about it. If any experience about this, please, let me know. Thank you!!! I had my tubes tied cut and burned and i have had no problems at all. My husband loved not worrying about me getting pregnant when we first got married. To keep your hormones in balance take a look at healthquest.peoplesway.com. ProHM is for women. Oil of mink may reduce the signs of operations and scarring. If not it is great for the skin, and can be used to reduce teeth sensitivity. There are videos at youtube if you search for peoplesway. I had a tubal and an uterine ablation on the same day. There was no way I was going to have any more babies! I did not gain any weight and all the other people that I know have not either. This is my personal experience only...not stating medical fact! There are definite side effects. Specifically Tubal Ligation Syndrome which manifests through painful irregular bleeding, ovary pain, depression and severe pain. Seek out a message board for specific experiences and talk to your doctor and fertility specialist to be sure this is the best option for you. You might want to consider a 5 or 10 year IUD as well. Good Luck!! You have a difficult decision to make. |
