Non stoppage of abd.fluid drainage since last 20 days after laprotromy?

Laprotromy done 20 days ago. Pus pocket & many adhesions found.possibly small bowel rupture.after liquid diet .the stopped drain reappeared (200 to 300 cc )daily.

200cc of fluid each 24hrs is still quite a lot.

I hope you are still on some antibiotics (I'm actually hoping you are still in hospital!)

You would like to think that after nearly 3 weeks the docs are on top of the infection. Perhaps you need to talk with them some more so they can explain to you what the delay is.
