Adenoids question?

I have this thing with my nose and my doctor me a name for it. I can't remember the scientific name but he said that it was chronic stuffy nose. Because of this I snore and get super congested sometimes. My aunt had the same problem as me and she had her adenoids removed and is cured. I asked my doctor if I could have this done and he said that they don't do it anymore. Is that true? Is there anything else I can get to help it?

Maybe your doctor was referring to the fact that they do not remove adenoids for snoring anymore.
