I'm getting my tonsils and adenoids taken out and I don't know who to believe...? |
I'm getting my tonsils and adenoids taken out tomarrow and the doc said it'll take about two weeks to recover. My friend's all say it takes about a week to recover (when I say recover I mean feel good enough to go to school) and my dad said he knows someone who just had it done and it took a month! Who do I believe? I got mine out this summer. I am 28. The older you are the longer it takes. Well obviously it will vary from person to person. It took one of my friends about a week and it took my other friend maybe a week and a half. well ali everyone is different and heal at different rates...so its probably somewhere in the middle...take advantage of it and eat all that ice cream and feel better soon! Um i felt GREAT afterwards sooo much better than before. But i went back to school like in a week. Well getting out Tonsils - Great, but the blood which goes into your stomach will cause a lot of problems,It's a so hard and strong motion, and you will bleed.Cause you cannot take food for two days. You can take some Fruit Juice ( Non carbonated), and if your surgeon has prescribed you a penicillin lozenge, which will sooth your throats. You will recover quickly in a three days time. You can be pretty well to attend the school. You will feel good the very next day after taking out tonsil. It's doesn't take a month time to recover it.But it will improve your health after removal of tonsils.Well enjoy the Ice cream and Natural fruit juice! Get well soon! I had mine out as a little kid. If I remember correctly it didn't take long to recover. I know I was eating soft cheese tacos the night after surgery. it differs from person to person. |
