My son got his adenoids taken out since wednesday.? |
My three year old son got his adenoids taken out. But I did research but how long will he have this bad smell in his mouth and there way I could give him that help. I can handle it. But I think he cannot handle the smell since he not opening his mouth. Also want can I say to his teacher he allowed to come back to school on Tuesday.. He is not opening his mouth because things hurt back there. Hopefully, you are giving him some pain medication on a regular basis. Offer popsicles, ice cream bars - anything cold will make it feel better also. The smell will gradually go away on its own - at 3, do not give him anything else like mouthwash, breath mint, etc. It will depend on how he is feeling and whether he is back eating and drinking or not as to whether you should send him back to school. |
