What is to be expected during/with the removal of a child's adenoids and tonsils along with ear tubes? |
My 5 year old son is having his tonsils and adenoids removed and ear tubes February 13th. What can I expect with this surgery and post op. He had chronic ear infections and frequent strept throat infections. What is it going to be like? Please give any inforamtion you have. Thanks so much!!! RELIEF! He will probably be "okay" the first 24 hours, but after that he will feel the best he has in a long long time! he will be a little sore, but not too bad... I do pray he recovers as easily as Brandon and this experience is a very good thing....it beats having to see the doctor on a regular basis! |
