I am going to get my tonsils and adenoids out. What are good ways to relax before and after surgery?

Oh Honey, I feel for you. My daughter just had this done. She slept a lot because of the medication, so sleep as much as you can. We also bought baby food & jello for her which helped. Good Luck to you.

get some valium from your doctor.

i have tonsils too but i'd never get surgery even if i die because of it lol

Popsicles and a good movie or book.

Before surgery your so busy talking to different nurses and anethesioligists and the like you don't have time to be nervous or scared. After words your pretty much out of it for 48 hours once your feeling better ask for lots of ice chips!! They usually have tv in the rooms allbeit no good stations but it helps you go to sleep at night :)
