How to kick that cold?

My 5 year old has been sick since school started in August. As soon as she starts to show signs that she is getting better BAM she is sick again. She had her Adenoids removed over Christmas break and she was sounding and feeling great but on the plane she picked up another cold and she is back to stuffy and runny nose, congestion, mucus, and coughing. I have tried vitamins, cough syrup, cold medicine, cod liver oil, the whole nine. I would love to take her to the DR but my job does not offer insurance and I make too much to get state issued insurance, but don't make enough to afford a regular price DR visit. Definitely time to find a new job!

sounds like she has allergies.
You can try, zinc lozenges and or echinacia. Both boost the immune system...............so if it is a cold they should get rid of it.
