Lately when i have been running i've been getting a hurtful burning pain in my throat/chest! what is it?

when i run about half a mile it starts hurting/burning and then it goes away about 5 minutes later, but i have to stop running because it hurts/burns so bad

So do you know what it is?? and i dont want to go to the doctor.

if this helps any im 14 and advrage weight (120) and 5'1

and i got my tonsils and adenoids out about 6 months ago on september 6th.

and how can i stop the pain other than stop running

This happened to me around 13. I went to the doctors, although I didn't want to, and they took x-rays. Turned out I had lung inflammation and my lungs kept hitting my chest and lungs. It was really painful, but they perscribed nothing, told me to take Advil daily, and it would heal itself. You sound like me, but that may not be the case. I suggest seeing a doctor to make sure, and don't push yourself too hard.
